Apple Silicon M1 and M2 Processors and Citrix Workspace

Starting with certain models introduced in late 2020, Apple began the transition from Intel processors to Apple silicon in Mac computers.

On Mac computers with Apple silicon, About This Mac shows an item labeled Chip, followed by the name of the chip:


To open About This Mac, choose Apple menu in the top left corner > About This Mac.

On Mac computers with an Intel processor, About This Mac shows an item labeled Processor, followed by the name of an Intel processor. A Mac with an Intel processor is also known as an Intel-based Mac.


Depending on if your system is an Intel-Based mac or Apple Silicon, please download the appropriate version of Citrix Workspace App:

Intel Based Macs:

Apple M1 Based Macs:

https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/mac/workspace-app-for-mac-native-support-for-silicon-mac.html


After downloading, please double-click the installer from your downloads folder to start installation.  
All defaults choices should be OK!

Check the box to Add Account on the last installation window.

When prompted for Server Name or Work Email, please enter:

Login.designmanager.com
and then your DM username and password!
