Unable to type in programs using Citrix on a MAC

After installing the latest MAC operating system update 10.9.5, you are unable to type in any program (Design Manager) using Citrix. The keyboard appears to no longer work.

This latest MAC update has an issue with the keyboard focus. To fix this, you will need to switch the keyboard focus to the OSX Desktop and then back to the Citrix Viewer/Receiver.

To change the focus to the OSX desktop:

Press the CMD + TAB buttons on the keyboard at the same time.

Then, using your mouse, click on the active Citrix Viewer in the dock.

You should now be able to type again in your Citrix program (Design Manager).
