Troubleshooting Motorola/Symbol LS2208 POS Scanner

If you are having problems with the Motorola/Symbol LS2208 POS Scanner, please locate the blue and white Quick Start Guide that can be found in the box.

Next, find the Set Defaults section where you will find a bar code labeled Return to Factory Defaults.

Scan that bar code (shown below) once.


Next, scan the following bar codes in the correct order to reprogram the scanner:

Keyboard Wedge- IBM PC/AT & IBM PC Compatible


Then Scan from left to right the bar codes under Add an Enter Key- numbers 1, 2 and 3. 



In the end, you should have scanned four (4) bar codes in total.

At this time the scanner should be completely reprogrammed and ready to use!
